These parent volunteers will lead the Club in 2011 and I ask all of you to give them your respect and support.

As I now finish up after 2 1/2 years as the Lakers' Co-Chair Volunteer, I would like to thank all of the board members, coaches and parent volunteers I have worked with during that time. It has certainly been one of the more rewarding experiences of my life. I believe the Club is now as strong as it has ever been and that is due to the hard work of all our parent volunteers. Even with the challenges inherent in running a travel soccer club with parent volunteers, seeing our Lakers kids out there having fun practicing, playing and learning to love the game of soccer has made it all worth it.
